If you are participating in the 2024 Wayne Chicken Show Parade, here are a few things to keep in mind:
-The parade goes North from 1st and Main, then West on 10th Street and south on Lincoln Street ending at 7th street. DO NOT STOP AT THE PARK TO DROP OFF RIDERS.
-If you feel that your entry will not make the two turns, just stay on 15 North.
-All entries should be ready to roll at 9:15 am.
–DO NOT STOP AT THE PARK TO DROP OFF RIDERS. Proceed to 7th Street.
-Line up according to the numbered flags on the South Side of 1st street from Lincoln street to Sherman street, on the East side of South Sherman street of Grainland Road and on the South side of Grainland Road. Please do not block driveways.
-Please pick up your parade number from the information booth on Henoween or at 1st and Pearl Street after 8 am on Saturday. You may also create your own number to display on the passenger side. Numbers need to be displayed on the passenger side.
-DO NOT STOP AT THE PARK TO DROP OFF RIDERS. PROCEED TO 7th Street
-Remember not to throw any items from the float or vehicle. Walkers can pass out or toss items along the route. Safety is important.
